Family coaching may be the answer. This is not counselling but rather mentoring you to make positive changes and see your way through to fresh direction and success on your parenting journey.

Our Family Coaching Team specialises in working with families with children 18 years old and younger. If your situation is serious and requires specialist intervention, we will endeavour to refer you to a counsellor skilled in this area.

The coaching approach is preventative. If we determine that the family issues are deeper and require specialist help, we will refer you to the appropriate service.

With this service, there are times when the parenting challenges require more than one intervention. Many families benefit from the ongoing support and encouragement given through ongoing consultations or emails.

Family Coaching is designed for parents who need a simple solution to a tricky challenge.

Email Coaching Service

A member of the coaching team can provide an email response to your individual parenting issue. The response will be tailored to your family and offer you several steps to work through. As part of the service, we also offer a follow up email to ensure that progress is sustainable. As this is an email service, we are only able to address one issue at a time. The email service cannot replace more in depth intervention.

You will receive a response within one week of sending your email.

We charge a fee of $50 (incl GST) for our personalised email service. Email a Family Coach below and pay on-line or by cheque.

One-On-One Consultation

For a one hour one-on-one consultation at the Parents Inc. Head Office (Greenlane, Auckland), you can make an appointment with a member of the team to assess the dynamics at work in your family in a more detailed way. Your Family Coach will plan a strategy to make positive and achievable changes. This coaching will also include one follow up email.

We charge a fee of $70 (incl GST) for our one-on-one consultations. Purchase on-line below or book a session by phoning 09 524 0025. (These sessions are available at our Auckland office only.)

Phone Coaching Service

For families unable to access our one-on-one coaching, we offer a phone or skype coaching service. Together we arrange a time for you to call. Purchase on-line below or book a session by phoning 09 524 0025. We charge a fee of $70 (incl GST) for a one hour phone consultation.

Cancellations

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or cancel a booking. A $25 booking fee is not refundable if the appointment is not kept.  However, we acknowledge that emergencies do happen and will do our best to reschedule your appointment.
