Nick and Vasa Tuitasi - Pasifika Families presenters

Nick
Nick Tuitasi Q.S.M. is our Pacific Island presenter for the new Pasifika programmes. He is a gifted orator, who will take his audience on an exciting visual journey, weaving in true life challenges and research, which he draws from his extensive policing career. Nick is admired for his no nonsense approach, which has his participants engaged and laughing, while learning life changing principles and values, which can transform families.
Nick spent 25 years with the New Zealand Police and has been honoured several times by government and community organisations for his ground breaking work, with youth at risk. As the youth aid officer for Mt Roskill in Auckland, he launched new youth initiatives that have since become 'best practice models' around New Zealand.
Over the last 10 years, Nick has been a regular speaker at the popular men's conference Promise Keepers and also The National Young Leaders Days events, organised for outstanding students in schools around the country.
A native New Zealander, he married his Pacific princess from the islands of Samoa, and they have three beautiful teenage daughters.
Vasa
They say, "Behind every good man is a great women!" (and a surprised mother-in-law). Vasa is the knot that holds Nick's lava lava together. Born in Apia, she is the oldest child of the Clarke family, who are well known in the New Zealand sporting circles, for producing All Blacks (Eroni) and Silver Ferns (Sheryl). Vasa is actively involved in serving her local church in West Auckland alongside Nick and their teenage daughters. Vasa loves being a Mum to her three teenage daughters and is passionate about encouraging our Pacific parents with tools and insights from her own personal experiences.
Together Nick and Vasa deliver The Parenting Place's humorous yet hard hitting Pasifika flavoured programme, that literally has their attendees breathless, but wanting more.
