Building great leaders
NYLD (National Young Leaders Days) are annual leadership events held in major cities around the country. Since 2001 over 90,000 students have attended throughout New Zealand. The days aim to develop student leadership and be both inspirational and practical.
The objectives of NYLD are:
- Empowerment
- Postivity
- Inspiration
- Connection
- Motivation
- Education
Schools nominate top student leaders such as Captains, Vice-Captains, Prefects, S.R.C. Representatives, House Captains, Sporting Captains and other student leaders to attend the event.
NYLD events include inspirational talks from New Zealand leaders, question times, short videos, exercises, music and student interaction.
Parents can bring their own children to our NYLD events. You will need to stay with your child during the event. You can book through our website, choose the individual booking option on the booking form.
