Building Awesome Whānau Toolbox Facilitator training – Auckland – SOLD OUT
21 September 2017 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
As the latest addition to Toolbox, Building Awesome Whānau is pretty special. Drawing on the wisdom of Māori ways of being, doing and knowing – and bringing them together with the best of Toolbox – we’ve sought to create a resource that reflects this remarkable country of ours, and in doing so, serves all of it’s people.
Facilitator Training consists of:
- Complete facilitator application. (This must be completed prior to the two day training.)
- Two day training event. This includes an overview of the Toolbox material, cultural knowledge, facilitator competencies and the heartbeat of The Parenting Place.
- Co-facilitation of a six week Building Awesome Whānau Toolbox using the Tuakana/Teina mentoring model.
Once the above stages of your training are successfully completed you can become an approved Building Awesome Whānau Toolbox facilitator.
$180 per trainee for funded course providers or $100 per trainee for community volunteers
Bookings with Hellena Johnson are essential. Please register with her via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or 022 606 6229 to attend this training.
This is a two day training course, Thursday and Friday, 21 and 22 September, 9:30am – 3:00pm each day
