Circle of Security Parenting programme – seven week course
May 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$200
Circle of Security with Sheridan Eketone
At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Between tears and tantrums, it can be hard to know why the small things set off big feelings. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security Parenting programme is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. Through this program, you’ll be equipped with what you need to help your little one manage their emotions and grow their self esteem. You will reflect on your child’s needs, your parenting and how the way you were parented influences the way you parent now.
Sheridan Eketone works for Parenting Place as a Toolbox Coordinator & Facilitator Trainer. She is the mother of four children and is passionate about encouraging parents to understand how connection plays such a vital role in raising confident and secure children. She has been a facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting programme for the past three years.
This seven week course is for parents of children 0 to 6 years old. It goes from Thursday, 9 May and will finish on Thursday, 20 June 2019
*We ask that children don’t attend the evening classes
