The first two years of marriage can be surprisingly difficult to navigate. That’s why Matt and Belinda Stott have brought together a collection of marriage insights to create Marriage – the early years.
In Marriage – the early years, Matt and Belinda will provide tools to help pre-marrieds and newly-weds develop an incredible foundation for a life-long marriage. Themes will include: dealing with a couples’ many and varied differences, communication masterclass, understanding and managing emotions and growing in intimacy. Expect to learn a lot!
About the presenters
With more than a decade of experience as a counsellor working with young adults, Belinda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping couples survive the often challenging early years of marriage. As a counsellor, novelist and public speaker she has helped couples work through a wide range of areas affecting their relationship including: trust and forgiveness issues; struggles around rejection, jealousy, infidelity and shame; depression, anxiety and addictions; past trauma; sexual struggles and more.
Over 300,000 teenagers and young adults throughout New Zealand and Australia have been encouraged and equipped by Matt’s inspirational speaking. His style is entertaining, educational and personable. Once part of the Attitude team at Parenting Place, he now works alongside Belinda running life and relationship workshops all over the country in a variety of contexts.
$195 per couple, including a two course lunch at a local restaurant.
