What you will learn
In six sessions, typically run over six weeks, the Primary years Toolbox will support you to develop a strong and loving bond with your child, and build your confidence as a parent/caregiver. This Toolbox covers a range of topics, including the importance of love and connection, different parenting styles, understanding your child and their big feelings, discipline, boundaries, play and lots more.
This is a new and more specific version of our former Middle Years Toolbox. This course is aimed specifically at parents of children 5 – 9 years.
Topics covered
Session 1 Love is the foundation
Session 2 Parents
Session 3 Stronger, deeper, closer
Session 4 Heart-led parenting
Session 5 Discipline without shouting, force or fluster
Session 6 Putting it all together
Cost and payment
$75 for an individual or $110 per couple. However as a community service we know this cost may be beyond your reach. Our desire is that cost would never be a barrier, and we’d still love you to join us if you’re unable to contribute in this way. There are many other valuable ways to contribute – like bringing a cake to share, or helping pack up. Get in touch, and we’ll get you booked in.
