Primary Years Toolbox course – Kaiapoi

March 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

What you will learn

In six sessions, the Primary years Toolbox will support you to develop a strong and loving bond with your child, and build your confidence as a parent/caregiver. This Toolbox covers a range of topics, including the importance of love and connection, different parenting styles, understanding your child and their big feelings, discipline, boundaries, play and lots more.

This is a new and more specific version of our former Middle Years Toolbox.  This course is aimed specifically at parents of children 5 – 9 years.

Topics covered

Session 1             Love is the foundation
Session 2             Parents
Session 3             Stronger, deeper, closer
Session 4             Heart-led parenting
Session 5             Discipline without shouting, force or fluster
Session 6             Putting it all together

Cost and payment

The cost is $75 per person or $110 per couple. However, our desire is that cost would never be a barrier, and we’d still love you to join us if you’re unable to contribute in this way. There are many other valuable ways to contribute – like bringing a cake to share, or helping pack up. Get in touch, and we’ll get you booked in.

For more information, please phone Lynley Garratt  0211636942 or email lynley.garratt@parentingplace.nz

Please note that the course will be split over 2 school terms, as below

Actual session dates – Monday 25 March, 1 April, 8 April (break for school holidays) then 29 April, 6 May, 13 May

Toolbox courses require a minimum of seven participants to proceed.
