Toolbox Facilitator resource page (New Zealand only)

Kia ora! Welcome to your Toolbox facilitator page. Here you’ll find all you need to set up and run your Toolbox course. Here’s a diagram to walk you through the process and under it are links and video resources. If you are an Australian facilitator please see this page for your resources.

Five step procedure

Step one – Complete online course advice form

Before you start a new course, you’ll need to get in touch with Parenting Place by filling out this online form – https://www.theparentingplace.com/ToolBoxCourseAdvice

Here’s a link to a quick tutorial on how to use the course advice form – https://tinyurl.com/onlinecourseadvice

If you’re needing to list your course on the Parenting Place website and take bookings online, please tick these options on the form and you’ll be emailed a link to this. You can use the link to invite people to the course. It’s also where they can book in and pay online. When parents register and pay online, an automated email from WordPress is sent to the website contact person you’ve listed. (So do double-check that the email address is all spelled correctly)! If registration and payment for your course are not happening online, the course can still be listed on the website.

Please also fill out the ‘online bookings close date’ giving yourself plenty of time to get your course and materials sorted.

Step two – Get your course number

Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll get an email with your course number and instructions on how to order your course resources.

Step three – Order your resources

Using this link – https://online.printstop.co.nz/parentingplace, you can order your course resources from the Online WebStore. You need to be registered by Parenting Place to have access to do this. Get in touch with your local coordinator if you’re needing help.

Quick note – please only use this process to order a full course. If you’re needing any additional resources, please get in touch with your coordinator.

It takes about six working days for the resources to arrive so please be sure to factor this into your planning.

Step four – Run your course

And have fun! Don’t forget to join the national Facebook page for facilitators.

Step five – Course completion form

Within two days of your course wrapping up, you’ll get an email with a link to a course completion form. The form give us a quick review of how many parents were at the course and any comments you want to send through. It’s important we get this back from you.

Pop the DVD/USB, extra manuals and forms into the envelope and send them back to the national office as soon as possible after your course.
