An adventure camp for you and your child.

New Zealand Red Cross and Parenting Place have joined forces to bring you Tī Kōuka – the ultimate adventure weekend for parents and their pre-teens.

Most of us don’t look forward to talking about puberty, technology, drugs, alcohol or self esteem with our kids. We know it’s really important, but it’s difficult to find the right moment, or even know where to start.

This is what Tī Kōuka is all about. You make the time, and we create the space,  start the conversation, and give you the tools to make it a memorable experience for all the right reasons.

There will be challenging and fun activities, good food, great conversations and the chance for parents and kids to strengthen their relationships.

Tī Kōuka will be hosted by Parenting Place’s team of expert communicators and youth workers who have a reputation for making information engaging and entertaining.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have the conversations that matter most. Join us at Tī Kōuka this April!
